Electrical equipment

Electronic equipment that is allowed:

  • Portable PC. (Assuming that all features such as wifi and Bluetooth are turned off.)
  • Electronic games. (Only smaller devices under 1 kg may be used during take-off and landing. Larger devices weighing more than 1 kg must be turned off and placed in carry-on luggage during take-off and landing.)
  • Mobile phone and tablet with Flightmode. (The device must be stored securely, held in the hand or pocket during taxi, takeoff and landing. Accessories such as headphone cords must not obstruct access to the aisle.)
  • Reading tablet.
  • Camera.
  • Noise-cancelling headphones. (Personal headphones can now be used throughout the flight and be connected to your personal equipment. However, we ask that you remove the headphones during the cabin crew safety demonstration.)
  • Electric shavers.
  • Other electronic toys.

Lithium Batteries:

  • Novair allows lithium batteries on board in accordance with The Swedish Transport Agency’s rules. Loose lithium batteries must be carried in hand luggage, and may not be checked in. Contact customer service if you have any questions. Please note that balance scooters (hoverboards, solowheels, etc.) powered by lithium batteries are not allowed on board Novair, neither in checked baggage nor hand luggage.

Electronic equipment prohibited from use:

  • Mobile phone without Flightmode. (All devices that transmit and receive signals and do not have flight mode must be turned off during the entire flight.)
  • Radio transmitter/receiver.
  • TV receiver.
  • Remote control equipment.
  • GPS.
  • Electronic cigarettes.
  • Other equipment that has an active transmitter.

In special circumstances, flight crew may ask you to turn off all electronic equipment. For example during automatic landings and when landing in poor visibility. If this is the case, you will receive instructions over the aircraft’s public address system. If in doubt, contact the cabin crew.
