Novair flights are cash-less. We accept major credit- and debit cards. Please note that the maximum ammount for on board purchase is 13,000SEK.

*Rules for Debit-cards: When buying for €200 – €800, ID-card is required. we unfortunately cannot accept payment above €800 on board from Debit-card. For this, please use a different payment method.

Customs within EU

Alcohol may only be carried by persons 20 years or older, and tobacco only by persons 18 years or older. Reference levels are used by customs to establish if amount carried is for private use or commercial purposes.

Reference levels used for private use are as follows.

Tobbaco: Cigarettes 800ea or, Cigarillos 400ea or, Cigars 200ea or, Smoking tobacco 1 kg.

Alcohol: Spirits 10 liters, Medium strength (for instance strong wine) 20 liters, Wine 90 liters (Of which a maximum of 60 liters may be sparkling wine), Beer 110 liters.

EU-countries: Croatia, Bulgaria, Rumania, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, United Kingdom, Greece, Spain (not Canary Islands), Portugal, Austria, Finland, and Sweden.

Customs non-EU

Alcohol may only be carried by persons 20 years or older, and tobacco only by persons 18 years or older. It is the individual traveler’s own responsibility to keep up to date with applicable customs regulations for the respective country of entry. Non-EU countries also include the Canary Islands.

Alcohol:
1 liter of spirits or 2 liters of strong wine (including sparkling wine) 4 liters of wine and strong beer**.

Spirit:
The alcohol content exceeds 22% by volume. Strong wine: alcohol content exceeds 15%, but not 22% by volume. Wine: wine other than strong wine, as well as other alcoholic beverages that exceed 3.5%, but not 15% by volume and that are not strong beer. Strong beer: beer with an alcohol content exceeding 3.5% by volume.

Tobacco:
200 cigarettes, or 100 cigarillos, or 50 cigars, or 250 g of smoking tobacco, or a proportional selection of these tobacco products* snuff**.

* A traveler can choose a smaller quantity of cigarettes in order to, for instance, be able to also bring in duty-free cigars (eg 100 cigarettes and 25 cigars). Please note that this option is not available in the tax area.

** There is no quantity limit for bringing in snus or beer for personal use. However, there is a maximum value of SEK 1,700 that may not be exceeded without duty and tax having to be paid. This amount includes all goods purchased during the trip.
